EICA - Ascenders NICAS Introduction
Is your child is aged between 8-14 years old and interested in learning to climb? Our NICAS Introduction Program introduces kids to all the essential skills they need to stay safe and enjoy themselves climbing. Following the national development structure for climbing, this is the perfect first step into the scene and covers skills such as teamwork, listening and communication, alongside other practical climbing skills.

EICA - Ascenders NICAS Development
If your child is aged between 8-14 years old and already has completed NICAS level 2 and is working on levels 3-5, the NICAS Development Program gives them the opportunity to work through different levels during the holidays. The course teaches the key skills for safe climbing, alongside exercises in technique, communication and teamwork to help kids to get the most out of their climbing.

EICA - Rock Camp
If you’re a more experienced climber aged 10-17 years old and have completed NICAS level 2 and are working on level 3 and above and looking to get outdoors, our team of instructors combine bouldering and indoor sessions with outdoor Trad and Sport climbing, featuring at some of Central Scotland’s most renowned and challenging crags.

EICA - NICAS Clip
Brand new to the EICA! NICAS CLIPS is a new addition to our coaching programme and the first coaching class to launch in our Clip n Climb area for children aged 6-10 years old. EICA - Intro to Real Rock Half Day
Climbed indoors but want to learn more about climbing outdoors? For this taster one of our experienced Instructors takes you to a local crag such to experience climbing on real rock using leader placed protection such as cams and wires (you'll know what we mean by the end of the course).
If you can climb independently indoors this is the course for you with a 1:2 ratio and an evening escape to the crags. Transport and equipment is included although we encourage you to bring your own climbing shoes and harness.
